How to remove WINDOWS START UP items from windows XP?


For changing Startup items user required Admin rights. Click on windows run (click on start then click on run) then type in the column “msconfig” and press enter.  A new window will open now. 


In that select startup, then you can see a lot of items below that which is open while in the restart.
Select which one you don’t want to open you are logging in to your account. Click on the check box which program you don’t want to open.


UN checks the box and gives Apply then press OK. The system will ask for restarting. Just restart the system. The program won’t open in the next log in.
